Incident During Pakistan Shaheens’ UK Tour

The Pakistan Shaheens’ tour of the United Kingdom began on July 17, 2025, and was scheduled to run until August 6, 2025. The team played multiple three-day matches, with two ending in draws and the series concluding 2–1 in their favor.

The alleged rape incident took place in the middle of the tour, raising further scrutiny on Pakistan cricket’s management and player conduct.

The police investigation remains ongoing, and Haider Ali has been released on bail. If the criminal investigation clears him, the PCB will still proceed with its internal disciplinary review before deciding on his cricketing future.

The PCB has reiterated its commitment to cooperating fully with UK authorities while ensuring due process for the player.
